I am 32 years old and live in Surrey with my partner of 9 years.  I have been in debt for as long as I can remember and it all came to a head last August when MBNA advised that they were going to raisae my interest rate from 0% pa to 27.9% pa!  My IVA was approved in October 2006, but failed in February as I couldn’t afford the payments.  I am now bankrupt, and this blog is my story from IVA to BR.
